There is often an expectation within Australian society that the experimentation with drugs and alcohol is simply a phase that every teenager must go through; some even view it as a rite of passage. Unfortunately, in the pursuit of the ‘numbing buzz’ and quick fixes, the short and long term impact of substance abuse is quickly overlooked. Through specialised workshops we seek to engage young people through contemporary and relevant vehicles, including personal stories and music. They will be confronted and challenged with the dangerous realities associated with drug and alcohol abuse.
To provide young people with relevant information and a framework to make healthy choices for themselves and others in relation to drugs and alcohol.
Stand4 Workshops develop and deliver professional, entertaining and impacting prevention-focused drug and alcohol workshops that not only educate students, but challenge them to be more proactive in positive peer intervention.

Each session is designed to be engaging through the use of: multimedia, stories, music, video and interactive games. Workshop durations vary from 90 minutes up to all day retreats. Student numbers can vary with a maximum of 120 per workshop. Here are several options (will vary depending on your timetables, number of students and cost): - STAND4 ONE (Single workshop - duration up to 100 minutes) - STAND4 TWO (Half-day retreat - up to 200 minutes) - STAND4 THREE (All day retreat - to fit your timetable) - STAND4 FOUR (Parent and Teacher Education workshops) Costs may vary depending on a number of factors (e.g. Size of group, length of seminar etc).
