Seminars & Workshops

The incursion workshop focuses on why people use drugs and discuss resilience factors for young people. Resilient factors that are presented through the workshop include:social skills, discussing influences, perceived versus real harm, refusal skills and protective factors.

In addition to this student seminar, a complimentary teacher resource manual & curriculum is provided that can be implemented & modified by the school to extend the learning outcomes in the classroom over several weeks.

Learning focus

The seminar is designed to equip students to develop a basic understanding of why drugs and alcohol exist, raising safety measures, the potential harm it can cause and issues of peer pressure and decision-making.

STAND4 Workshops invite student participation and interaction, through the use of :

Seminar Duration and Student Numbers

STAND4 workshops are catered to your needs. The ideal number of student numbers are a maximum of 80 (primary) and 120 (secondary).

The seminars duration vary according to the year level and the school timetable. Most seminars range from 60 min. (primary school) to 100 min. (secondary school).
You can choose a single, half-day or full-day of seminars.
